There is a bundle of threads on the horizontal hook.

Please remove the bundle of threads, thread the needle again and check the thread run: Does the bobbin thread run anti-clockwise? This is correct. Does it run along the left-hand side over the bobbin towards the needle plate opening? This is the correct run.

Tip: Try sewing without cutting off the bobbin thread with the thread cutter.
